‘No Time To Die’ review: A bold, beautiful send-off to Craig’s James Bond

With over a nearly 60-year career on film, the character of James Bond has found himself in numerous lethal situations and always seems to wander out of them, dusting off his jacket and offering a cocky sort of grin for the viewer; his invincibility has always seemed a sure thing. The franchise is too enormous to ever feel like the titular character is in any real, legitimate danger.

‘What If…?’ finale brings an exciting first season to a satisfying close

Marvel Studios’ anticipated animated project, “What If…?,'' aired its season finale on Wednesday, Oct. 6, wrapping up an impressive first season in a satisfying way. The Disney+ show stars Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher — an omniscient being who swore an oath to watch over the multiverse without interfering in it — who serves as the series’ narrator, guiding us through these vast new realities as we explore how major Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) moments would change if things happened differently. ‘Squid Game’ review: What is the real horror of the game?

“Squid Game” is a 2021 Netflix Korean thriller and horror show that has taken the world by storm. If you are not already familiar with the show's premise, in the simplest of explanations, it is about 456 people who are all living on the brink of financial ruin. All of these people are invited to play childhood games in order to win a massive amount of money, enough to pay off all their debts as well as allow them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. The games played are all childhood games that everyone is already familiar with, having played them as children. The catch? If you  break the rules of the game, you are shot execution-style by the mysterious masked guards who help run the games.

‘Dune’ is a technical masterpiece with an emotional void

Dune” is the newest film from Academy Award-winning director Denis Villeneuve and promises to bring a faithful adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name to the silver screen. Set in the year 10,191, “Dune” takes place on the desert planet of Arrakis and follows the gifted Paul  Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) who is troubled by dreams of the future and must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to stop a war and save his people.
