Update: Paige Aiello has been identified as the female whose body was found in the Hudson River yesterday, according to The Times.

R. Barbara Gitenstein, president of the College, sent an email to the College community this afternoon confirming the news.

"This is devastating news for our campus community, its magnitude compounded as we reach the end of the academic year," Gitenstein said.

Aiello went missing one month ago, on April 9, from her home in Hillsborough.

The body of an unidentified female was found yesterday on the shore of the Hudson River, one mile south of the George Washington Bridge, according to The Times of Trenton.

The body was found in the area where a search was conducted on April 9 after Paige Aiello's belongings were found on the walkway of the bridge.

R. Barbara Gitenstein, president of the College, sent out an email last night acknowledging the initial reports, reiterating that it has not been confirmed that the individual is Paige Aiello, and asking that everyone keep Aiello in their thoughts and prayers.
