Breaking: Paige Aiello search ongoing

Update: Paige Aiello's wallet and cell phone were found on the south walkway of the upper level of the George Washington Bridge on Tuesday night, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

After 11 p.m. Tuesday, authorities began a search of the Hudson River in the area of the bridge.

Aiello's mother's car, which was also missing, was found last night, April 10, at about 10:19 p.m. in a New Brunswick parking lot located near a train station, according to the prosecutor's office.

The Hillsborough Township Police Department informed the College on the morning of April 10 that Paige Aiello, a senior at the College who does not reside on campus, was reported missing.

Aiello was last seen in her Hillsborough home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, by her father, according to the prosecutor's office. At about 3 p.m., Aiello's mother discovered that her daughter was missing as was her grey 2006 Audi A4.


At about 7:45 p.m. Aiello's father reported her missing to the Hillsborough Police Department, according to the prosecutor's office.


The College is requesting that anyone with additional information contact the Hillsborough Police Department at 908-369-4323.


Aiello is a communication studies major and a captain of the College's tennis team, and today, April 11, is her 22nd birthday.
