Nine student acts, including bands, singers and writers, participated in Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Peer Educators' "Peace of Mind" coffeehouse, held on April 8 in the Brower Student Center Food Court. Gina Pham, senior biology major and CAPS peer educator, called the event "our way of having campus members express themselves in a healthy way. This is our first coffeehouse and we hope to have more in the future."
Simultaneously, outside the Phelps Hall Main Lounge, talented students participated in a coffeehouse event organized by the College's chapter of the Foundation for International Relief of Children. Attendees enjoyed music and poetry on the Phelps Hall rear lawn.
