Students remembered the 9/11 attacks at 9 a.m. on Sept. 11 in the Brower Student Center atrium. The ROTC color guard presented the flag and Billy Plastine, Student Government Association President, spoke. He was followed by Lt. Col. John Stark and President R. Barbara Gitenstein. Students could pick up a poem and ribbon to wear during the day. To commemorate the planes hitting the World Trade Center Towers, the bells from Green Hall chimed at 8:46 a.m. and 9:03 a.m.
