LETTERS: Harrod thanks 'Ulysses' readers

Heads up! This article was imported from a previous version of The Signal. If you notice any issues, please let us know.

I want to thank the students (and others) who conducted the marathon reading of James Joyce's "Ulysses" last Thursday and Friday.

They read the whole doggone book (more than 600 pages - none of them easy) aloud.

This took 29-and-a-half hours.

The reading was joyous and fun, and I'm honored that they dedicated it to me. I especially want to thank Nicole Pfeiffer, Lindsay Warren, Steven Klett and Matt Sisko, the ringleaders.
