Women's club soccer lost to the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) 1-0 on Saturday. After a scoreless first half, UPenn was able to get a shot past junior goalkeeper Justine Clarke. The loss puts the College at 0-2 for the season after a loss against the University of Delaware on Sept. 8. The team will look to improve its record at the Pennsylvania State University Tournament this weekend.

Men's rugby tied York College in an exhibition game on Saturday. The team, looking to experiment with its new spread offense, is led by junior 8-man John Foster and junior scrumhalf Phil Tran. The Lions' mishandling of a kick led to an early score by the Spartans. Foster took the ball during a penalty play and drove across the York line. After committing a defender, he passed to senior Jim 'Bonds' Melnyk who touched the ball down to tie the game with just five minutes left. The B-side team played next, losing 5-0.

Manhunt held its second game of the semester on Friday and had a turnout of approximately 90 students.

Women's club lacrosse will play its first game of the 2007 season at Princeton University on Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. The team is still accepting new members. More information can be found at tcnj.edu/~wclublax.
