The undefeated streak has been extended once again as the men's tennis team trounced Babson College 9-0 Saturday afternoon. With the defeat, the Beavers are 1-5 while the Lions hold a 5-0 overall record.

In doubles action, the Lions took all three matches. Junior Roger Mosteller and fellow junior Michael Klimchak took down Babson's top pair, senior Jason Lynn and junior Ben Edick, 8-3. The win brings the College's top pair to a record of 11-2 on the year while holding a No. 13 regional ranking.

Senior Corey Ball and junior Eric Ferriere claimed an 8-1 victory over Babson's No. 2 doubles pair of senior Mike Perkins and freshman Brian Lafayette. At No. 3 doubles, freshman Jeremy Eckardt and sophomore James Vance beat Babson senior Doug Tough and junior Kyle Natichioni 8-2.

In singles play, Klimchak moved to 11-1 on the year with his 6-0, 6-1 win over Edick. Mosteller defeated Lynn at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-2. The College took the rest of the matches as well, with Ferriere, Ball, Eckardt and junior Andrew Cossaboom each defeating his opponent.

"Our team is filled with a bunch of hard working, motivated guys that all have one common goal: winning," Klimchak said.

The men's and women's team compete again on March 9 at noon, hosting Ithaca College in the Student Recreation Center.
