A man found the rear passenger window of his car broken after he and his son returned from an open house on Saturday, Oct. 28, at about 4:50 p.m. The car was parked in Lot 4. The man spotted and flagged down a Campus Police patrol car and showed the officer.
The man explained that he had parked the car at about 12:45 p.m. and did not notice any damage at that time. A squad of Campus Police officers searched the area for any evidence indicating what, if anything, had damaged the window, but none was found. The man said that nothing appeared to be missing from inside the car.

Students were struck by a string of bicycle thefts, occurring between 10:15 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
The first report came from a student who had parked a red Schwinn mountain bike in the bicycle rack in front of Travers Hall and locked it with a combination lock at 10:15 a.m.
The second bike, a Mongoose, was also secured by cable lock at the Forcina Hall bike rack facing the West Library.
The third student rode her bike, also a Mongoose, to Holman Hall for class and left it in a bike rack facing the West Library. She also secured her bike with a cable lock.
The students all returned to their bikes to find the cables cut and the bikes missing. They all performed searches of the surrounding areas, but to no avail. The bikes are each valued at around $200.

Campus Police officers were dispatched to Travers Hall on the night of Tuesday, Oct. 31, after a report of an intoxicated person. Upon arrival, they saw a female sitting on a chair and vomiting into a plastic bag. The officers made note of her watery eyes and slurred speech. When EMS arrived on the scene, they treated her for a bruised knee and took her to the hospital for treatment of alcohol poisoning.

Residents of one of the buildings in Townhouses South awoke to find that someone had damaged the walls in the second floor common area. Campus Police officers were called to assess the damage. They found a three-foot by six-inch hole in one of the walls, which were all covered in footprints. They also found an eight-inch by six-inch hole in one of the stairwells.
The officers spoke to some of the residents, but they did not know who or what had caused the damage.

The president of the Off-Campus Student Organization reported on Friday, Oct. 27, that the group's banner had been stolen from the Brower Student Center. The banner is six feet long and four feet high. It is yellow with a blue stripe, and says "OCSO" in white letters. The flag is estimated to be worth approximately $100.
