"Scary Movie 4"

The parody seems to be a lost cause. Aside from rare gems like "Shaun of the Dead," there haven't been any really good mockeries in years and, sadly, "Scary Movie 4" doesn't break this losing streak.
What made the previous films funny was that they addressed the absurdity in the horror flicks they poked fun at. With this fourth installment, something went seriously wrong. The jokes seem a little too set up and anti-climatic, especially since the majority of them revolve around someone being hit in the head with something and falling down.
Mocking films like "War of the Worlds," "Saw," "The Grudge" and oddly enough, "Brokeback Mountain," you would think there would be a wealth of material, yet it seems to fall flat. The film isn't completely lame though; there are some rather funny moments, like when a blind Carmen Electra mistakes a packed courtroom for a toilet in a spoof of "The Village." However, the genuinely entertaining aspects of the movie aren't enough to cover up the lack of real humor throughout the film.
Pink, "I'm Not Dead"

On the fourth album by the bad-girl songbird, Pink delivers another twist in the ever-changing landscape that is her musical portfolio. In this new release, she combines the different sounds of her past three albums into one eclectic product that puts other recent pop releases to shame.
She proves with this record that she can play both sides of the field: being introspective and insightful in songs like "The One That Got Away" and "Nobody Knows," while still having a good time and being the spunky troublemaker we have grown to love in songs like "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" and "Stupid Girls." She even has a political song this time around ("Dear Mr. President"), which is hit or miss nowadays, but she pulls it off with bold lyrics and a haunting acoustic guitar.
"I'm back again, I know y'all missed me," Pink growls on " 'Cuz I Can." She's right - pop music is in a better place now that she is back.
