On Monday, March 28 at 6:50 p.m., a female student entered Campus Police headquarters with a male friend from Rider University to report an unwanted person.
The student told Campus Police that she and the friend went to a club in New York City the previous night and met the man there. The student and her friend spent the night at the man's residence, and he accompanied them back to campus on Monday morning.
The student told Campus Police that the man proceeded to make her uncomfortable and would not leave her room when asked. She said that she did not call Campus Police earlier because she had invited the man to stay.
The man finally left the room to follow the student and her friend to her car, where he requested a ride. The student told officers that she refused and called a cab to take the man to the train station to go back to New York.
Campus Police attempted to contact the man, who said that he had walked to Slocum's bowling alley after leaving campus. Campus Police met with the man, obtained his information and advised him that the student desired no further contact with him.
Officers suggested that the man stay away from campus and not try to contact the student. The man told officers that he had no intention of returning to campus.

On Wednesday, March 30 at 7:50 p.m., Campus Police was dispatched to Townhouses South on a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident.
After arriving at the scene, an officer spoke with two witnesses. The witnesses told the officer that they observed a dark, four-door vehicle back into a light post in front of units 16 to 18 and snap it in half. The witnesses then heard the driver say "I guess I should get out of here" before making a K-turn and driving out of the complex.
At 8:25 p.m., Campus Police Det. Sgt. James Lopez spoke with a third witness confirming the original story.
At the same time, a fourth witness called Campus Police to report the accident. The witness told officers that the vehicle in question was a blue sedan with a sunroof.
Campus Police proceeded to contact the suspect, a male student, by telephone and ask him to come to Campus Police headquarters. After arriving at 9:20 p.m., the student was questioned by officers and admitted to backing into the light pole.
The student was issued three summonses, for careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

On Tuesday, March 29 at 8:20 p.m., Campus Police was dispatched to Centennial Hall on a report of criminal mischief.
Upon arriving at the scene, an officer met with the Community Advisor (CA) who reported the crime.
The CA told the officer that at 8:10 p.m., he was contacted by residents of a second-floor room who said they were awakened at 3 a.m. by a crashing sound. The residents then realized that the center window in their room had been broken.
At this time, Campus Police met with the two residents, who corroborated the CA's story.
The officer observed a small amount of broken glass below the window. An investigation of the area revealed no cause for the damage.
There are no suspects or further information at this time.
