On Sunday, Sept. 19, at 8:10 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Travers Hall and met with the CA on a report of a simple assault.

The CA stated that a student was on a computer in a room looking at a Web site about T-shirts and left to get his credit card in order to purchase the T-shirts. A student watching television in the room decided to pull a prank and logged out of the Web site.

The first student returned to the room, became angry to see the webpage closed and proceeded to hit the victim numerous times in the arm and face.

Lions EMS was called in to treat the student for injuries to the nose.

Campus Police advised the victim that he could press charges and obtain a temporary restraining order.

The victim replied he would think about it for a couple days. There is no more information at this time.
