To the Editor,
I would like to congratulate Mr. Esposito on his wonderful article last week, criticizing the democrats for their inability to choose a presidential candidate while the republicans remain "firmly entrenched" around President Bush. It is a true sign of solid moral character to back a party's candidate unflinchingly. If only those silly democrats would stop fighting for what they each believe in and create a solid platform of self-interest, the world would be a better place.
I for one would like to join in Mr. Esposito's battle cry, and rally around a healthy obsession with money, power, and economic imperialism. For too long, democrats have been shouting about "alternative energy," "minimum wage," and "peace." The less time we waste on volunteerism, the more time we have to write articles in The Signal about how much we hate tree-hugging hippies!
