I understand that "they" are going to tear down the chapel - the only really distinctive building on campus. I think this is a crime. We erect building after building that looks like every other building and is blah, blah, blah. And now we are going to erect a blah chapel (if the drawing is to be believed).
I would like to propose that we put the current chapel - all of it - intact - on a slab and float it on Lake Sylva - anchor the slab, of course, and construct a walkway from the shore to the chapel. This would preserve the beautiful building (as unblah as buildings come) and would provide a nice place for meditation - and a place to get away from - yes, you guessed it - blahness.
